Qust al-Hindi (القسط الهندي) is one of the most powerful herbs in Tibb-e-Nabawi.
It is the stronger, hotter, more intense form of Qust compared to Qust al-Bahri.
The Prophet ﷺ explicitly recommended it for several illnesses, giving it one of the highest statuses among prophetic medicines.

Qust al-Hindi is:

  • strongly anti-inflammatory

  • antibacterial & antiviral

  • warming & circulation-boosting

  • excellent for respiratory and hormonal issues

  • effective for chronic illnesses

This is not a mild herb — it is a deep-acting Sunnah medicine.

📜 Authentic Sahih Hadiths About Qust al-Hindi

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Use this Indian incense (Qust al-Hindi), for it cures seven diseases.
It is inhaled for throat pain and applied in the mouth for pleurisy.”
